Restoring Hope Roanoke’s response to the current COVID-19 crisis
March 24, 2020
At Restoring Hope Roanoke our mission continues to be that of connecting and equipping the local church to build helpful and loving relationships with our neighbors in need. Our neighbors suddenly have all kinds of new and emerging needs. How we love and serve has already been affected by government and health guidelines that have affected how churches and nonprofits around the city, and the world, ‘do business’.
We are still here to assist the local church in building the Kingdom of God. How we do this may look different in coming days, but we are here to support and encourage pastors, church leaders, and ministry leaders. We will be contacting many of our friends and partners in the coming days to check in and see how things are going, to pray with you, to provide you with assistance as needed.
We are also equipping ourselves to better serve you as we all move into a new era, into new ways of doing Christ-centered ministry, into new ways of restoring the Hope of the Gospel to our neighbors in the Roanoke Valley. In the midst of this crisis and in the days to follow, there are and will be many needs. Some are in need, and others are ready to help. Here are some immediate resources and opportunities available to church leaders and to the community as a whole.
To serve our community in this time we have compiled a page of resources that may be helpful to church leaders or anyone interested in using this time to the fullest in love for our neighbors.
